I think that a Mini Laptop is any laptop that has a 12 inch or smaller screen, weighs less than 3 lbs and is less than 1 inch thick. Although this definition is not etched in stone. There are other slightly larger laptops that would consider mini as well.
Why did you create this website?
I created this website because I really like small laptops. The smaller the better. I basically do not like to lug a 10 lb laptop around over my shoulder and really enjoy the light weight feature of the small mini laptops.
When we say external drives we mean that the CDROM is connected to the laptop by a cable that is either a special cable for that type laptop like with the C400 or L400 Dell Latitudes or perhaps it is a PCMCIA type CDROM drive that uses a PCMCIA port on your laptop. The Floppy drive can either be connected to the Parallel port with a special cable for your laptop like with the Dell Latitude C400 or you could have a USB port external floppy like the Toshiba Portege 3480.
Where can I find Mini Laptops?
Well there are number of companies selling small laptops that they consider mini. However we suggest that you use our favorite mini laptop dealer.
